Price covers both front headlights on one vehicle. Extra vehicles, fog lights or tail lights — just ask when you book.

    Start to finish

    Four steps, about an hour.

    STEP 1

    Book a time

Send us the day that works and where the car will be parked. We text you back with a time window.

    STEP 2

    We drive out

Driveway, apartment stall, or the parking lot at work — anywhere the car sits still for an hour.

    STEP 3

    Sand, polish, seal

We mask the paint, wet-sand the oxidation off the lens, polish it back to clarity, and lock it in with a UV clear coat.

    STEP 4

    Look before you pay

Come out, walk the front end, and tell us it looks right. Then we settle up.

    Why bother

Foggy lenses cost you more than looks.

    Safety

    You get your light back

Oxidation scatters the beam sideways instead of down the road. Clearing the lens puts that light back where you actually need it — which you notice first on unlit roads, in rain, and in snow.

    Cost

    A fraction of replacing them

A single new headlight assembly commonly runs a few hundred dollars before labor, and more on newer SUVs. Restoring both of yours starts at $100.

    Resale

It takes years off the car

Nothing ages a clean car faster than yellow headlights. If you’re about to sell, trade, or list it, this is the cheapest thing you can do to the front end.

Let’s get it on the calendar

Goes straight to us. We’ll text you to confirm the time before we drive out — your details are only used to schedule the job.

    Before you book

    Questions we get a lot.

    How long does it take?
Plan on about an hour for both headlights on most cars. Badly oxidized lenses or large SUV housings can run a bit longer — we’d rather take the extra fifteen minutes than leave sanding marks behind.
How long will they stay clear?
The clear coat is what decides that. We finish every lens with a UV-blocking clear coat rather than just a polish, which is the difference between staying clear for years and hazing back over in a few months. If yours starts clouding early, call us — we’ll take a look.
What do you need from me?
A parking spot with a few feet of room around the front of the car, and the keys or someone who can pop the hood. Let us know when you book whether there’s an outdoor outlet nearby.
My lens is cracked, or there’s water inside it.
Restoration works on the outside of the lens. Cracks, broken tabs and internal moisture are a sealing problem inside the housing, and that needs a replacement assembly instead. If that’s what we find, we’ll tell you straight and there’s no charge for the look.
Do you do fog lights or tail lights?
Often, yes. Send a photo when you book and we’ll quote it with the headlights.
    What about winter, or rain?
We work year-round, but the clear coat needs dry lenses and reasonable temperatures to cure properly. If the weather won’t cooperate on your day we’ll text you and move it rather than rush a finish that won’t last.
    How far will you drive?
Up to about 50 miles. The first stretch of driving is already included in the $100, and every 20 miles beyond that adds $20, so travel never adds more than $40 — $140 is the highest the estimator will ever show. If your town isn’t listed but you think you’re inside that range, just ask.
